Early investments were executed through direct ownership and partnerships, with a hands-on approach to asset management that built operational discipline at the property level.

Over time, the platform scaled into larger multifamily assets and structured individual syndications, introducing more institutional underwriting, capital formation, and execution discipline.

As experience deepened and market opportunities broadened, Masina expanded beyond multifamily into neighborhood retail and industrial assets — applying the same disciplined approach across asset classes.

This progression ultimately led to the formation of Masina Investment Partners, a platform designed to deploy capital across multiple asset types, structures, and market cycles.

Satya Masina is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Masina Investment Partners, where he leads the firm’s investment strategy, capital allocation, and acquisitions across its commercial real estate platform in Texas.

Since inception, Satya has been a key decision-maker in scaling the firm into a diversified $180M+ real estate investment platform. He has played a central role in establishing Masina’s acquisition criteria, underwriting discipline, capital structure, and portfolio strategy — including the firm’s expansion from multifamily into neighborhood retail and industrial flex.

Satya has overseen the acquisition and operation of more than 900+ multifamily units, along with multiple retail and industrial assets. His experience spans the full investment lifecycle, including sourcing, underwriting, capital structuring, execution of value-add business plans, and disposition.

Satya’s approach is grounded in disciplined underwriting, cycle-aware capital allocation, and a focus on building long-term value while preserving investor capital. He works closely with asset management to ensure that investment strategy translates into consistent operational performance.

As CEO, Satya is responsible for defining the firm’s strategic direction, maintaining investment discipline across market cycles, and ensuring that capital is deployed in alignment with Masina’s investor-first philosophy.

Venkata Masina is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Masina Investment Partners, where he oversees asset management, operational execution, and portfolio performance across the firm’s commercial real estate platform.

Since inception, Venkata has been responsible for executing the firm’s investment strategy at the asset level—driving disciplined business plan implementation and consistent Net Operating Income (NOI) growth across the portfolio.

He oversees a diversified portfolio of multifamily, neighborhood retail, and industrial flex assets. His responsibilities span business plan execution, performance optimization, and value creation across all asset classes.

Venkata brings a data-driven approach to asset management, informed by over 15 years of experience in business intelligence and analytics. He integrates operating data with investment assumptions to drive performance, enhance decision-making, and maintain accountability across the portfolio.

As COO, Venkata is responsible for enforcing operational discipline, maintaining performance standards, and delivering results aligned with the firm’s investment objectives.
